Enticing Eateries Within 30 Minutes Of Pen-Y-Bryn Farm
During your stay at Pen-y-Bryn Farm, there are some truly delightful places to spend a few hours surrounded by the lush green landscape and the wealth of different views that can be found all around you. Around every corner sits a true gem just waiting to be discovered. The following are just a few of the many eateries offering something special within around a 30 minute drive of our farm.
One of our favourite places to visit is The Captain's Table at the summit of the Great Orme in Llandudno, which is around a 30 minute drive from us. From here you can enjoy delicious food and a well stocked bar, whilst looking out over the surrounding views of the Great Orme and the Irish Sea. There is a tram station to take you to the top and back again if you don't fancy climbing the Orme on foot or you can drive to the top where there is a large car park and a wonderful playground where the children can have fun climbing and sliding to their hearts content. Tu Hwnt ir Bont is a delightful tearoom set in the gorgeous Welsh countryside around a 30 minute drive from our holiday cottages. Currently open 7 days a week, from 10.30am – 5pm, the tearoom offers a range of locally sourced and seasonal food to delight their guests. There is seating for 50 guests inside this quaint old building and seating for a further 30 people in the tea garden. You can enjoy morning coffee, lunches, afternoon teas and ice cream in the unique dining room or use their takeaway service and enjoy your lunch nestled in the breathtaking surroundings. A short 20 minute drive from our farm you will find The Holland Arms. This 17th century coaching inn offers a great selection of food and drinks for the whole family. There is a large beer garden which sits alongside views of the beautiful countryside surroundings. With a lunch menu, bar meals and evening meals on offer, you are spoilt for choice. The well stocked bar offers you a selection of wines, world beers and local beers and ales from Conwy Brewery and the Great Orme Brewery.
