Enjoy A Festive Break For Less At Pen-y-Bryn Farm


Christmas is a magical time of year in North Wales. Christmas lights are twinkling. Festive food and drinks are in abundance. Families and friends come together to celebrate and make cherished memories that will last for years to come. When you arrive at Pen-y-Bryn Farm, you are in for a real treat. And if you stay with us for 2 nights before the 17th of December you will pay our low-season price of £150 for up to five people in one of our cottages or £450 for up to 14 people in our Farmhouse! The following are just a few of the wonderful events taking place throughout December.

Conwy Christmas Markets will once again be bringing festive cheer for all. With stalls selling a variety of Christmas gifts, refreshments, crafts and lots more. The markets will be held at St Mary's Church hall from 10am until 4pm on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th, Monday 12th, Friday 16th and Saturday 17th of December. Surf Snowdonia in Dolgarrog will be hosting a Christmas Market to remember from Saturday 10th to Sunday 11th December. Opening at 10am and closing at 8pm, with a bar open until 11pm. There will be a real ale tent with a fire pit, Santa’s grotto, live music and local food and drink producers. Enjoy some Christmas shopping, with dozens of stalls selling original gifts, crafts, hand-made furniture, clothing, jewellery and festive decorations. Surf-related gifts, clothing, accessories and activity vouchers will also be available. There will also be seasonal food and drinks, plus regional producers and breweries will be laying out their wares to add a real local flavour to the festive proceedings. A vintage-style carousel will keep kids of all ages entertained and little ones will also be able to enjoy a festive bounce and scramble around Surf Snowdonia’s soft play shack, which will be open until 6pm. Conwy Winterfest is an exciting event organised by local business owners in the town of Conwy. With street entertainers, musicians, choirs, Clerical Error Black Face Morris Dancers, sword fighting on Lancaster Square, hot chestnuts, refreshments, donkey rides and much more, there is sure to be something for everyone. To finish this event in style, there will be a torch lit procession with Armoured Knights and their Ladies at 5.45pm. This event takes place on Saturday the 10th of December, from 4-7pm. Venue Cymru is hosting beloved pantomime Aladdin from the 10th - 31st December. There will be a Signed Performance on Saturday 17th December at 2.15pm, an Audio Described Performance on Saturday 17th December, 2.15pm (touch tour 1.15pm), and a Relaxed Performance on Thursday 29th December at 1pm. Relaxed performances are specifically designed to welcome people with a learning disability, Down's Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Condition or sensory and communication disorders and their families.
