This October, there are plenty of spooky events taking place all over the region. We have selected a few events to give you a taste of what's going on within an hours drive of us this Halloween.
Bodnant Welsh Food are holding their children's Halloween party on the 29th of October 2016. Their events page says “Join Bow the clown for a spooktacular monsters ball. Bow will be playing spooky games and looking for the best dancers and of course there will be some great prizes for the children who take part in our Halloween catwalk!” This event will take place from 5-6.45 pm and costs £10 per child. GreenWood Forest Park are holding their own Halloween celebrations from the 22nd to 30th October during the half term holidays. Snowdonia’s award-winning eco adventure park will be offering creepy crafts including lanterns, monstrous masks and even the chance to create your own Harry Potter style broomstick. Keep your eyes peeled for witches and other spooky creatures in the trees, or become one yourself with freaky face painting. For a spooktacular treat, listen to some spooky stories with Gillian or catch the Halloween show in the Forest Theatre. Everyone who comes in fancy dress will receive a free hot chocolate! Enjoy an afternoon of Halloween themed fun at Rhuddlan Castle. This event will take place on the 29th of October from 11am – 4pm and includes Halloween themed games, mask painting, puppet making, a spooky quiz, stories and much more.
