CADW Open Doors Days In North Wales

The CADW Open Doors Events are almost upon us and with it comes the chance to visit a wide range of Welsh places of interest for free. Some of the places listed are not usually open to the public which also makes this a rare chance to explore the hidden treasures of Wales and immerse yourself in Welsh culture and history. Here are just a few of the events on offer on the CADW Open Doors Day, Gwynedd and Conwy Events page.

From the 1st to the 24th of September 2016, The Sir Henry Jones Museum is opening its doors to the public every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday for the CADW Open Doors Day. The museum is 15 minutes away from us by car and is also currently open from 2-4pm every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Bank Holiday until the 1st of October 2016. A registered charity, the childhood home of Sir Henry Jones shows what life was like in this small Welsh Village in the late 19th Century. The museum houses the shoemakers workshop, tiny kitchen and bedroom where the family lived.
