The seaside Town of Llandudno is always popular with our guests. A firm favourite with all ages is Llandudno Pier. Situated right next to the beach at the Great Orme end, the pier is home to arcades and ice cream shops, rock and souvenir/gift shops and even has rides for the children. There are plenty of benches all along the pier so you can relax and take in the view. There are public toilets and a cafe and if you walk all the way to the end, you might even see some jellyfish in then water!
Located in Conwy, the Smallest House In Great Britain is a pleasant surprise for all ages! The house measures 72 inches across, 122 inches high and 120 inches deep. It has a bedroom and a living area with basic cooking facilities, and whilst more suited to one did have couples living in it in the 19th century. It was last occupied in 1900 when it was declared unfit for habitation. The house was saved from demolition to become a tourist attraction. Entry costs £1 per adult and 50p for children and is open from from 10-6 during school holidays, and 10-4 at other times. Their website advises that they may close early in case of bad weather or stay open later if there is a big queue. For more information, please click here to visit the website or call 01492 573965.
Loggerheads Country Park in Mold sits below the dramatic limestone cliffs of the Alyn Valley, where the river enters steep wooded gorges and open and secluded grasslands. There is also a cafe, shop and picnic area.
