Enjoy A Fun Filled Easter Break At Pen-y-Bryn Farm


Our holiday cottages and farmhouse are fully booked for the coming Easter weekend and our guests are in for a real treat as North Wales gets the Easter celebrations under way. There are lots of events taking place to celebrate Easter. The following are a few highlights of the Easter fun taking place across Conwy and within a 20-40 minute drive of Pen-y-Bryn Farm.

There are plenty of Easter egg hunts to be found in North Wales over the coming weekend and our pick for you is taking place at Conwy Castle. From 11am to 4pm on Easter Sunday, the castle will be open for visitors to 'hop along' and 'participate in an Easter egg hunt. Prices are as follows: Adult - £7.95. Family (Admits 2 adults and all children under 16) - £21.50. Senior citizens, students and children under 16 - £5.60. Member - Am ddim/Free. Disabled and companion - Am ddim/Free. Gladstone's Library is hosting their annual Easter craft fair on Easter Sunday. The event has free entry and is open from 10.30 am to 4.30 pm. There are over 20 stalls selling handmade crafts and gifts, a pop-up book stall with books for adults and children, lots of tasty treats in the Food for Thought café, the all-new children's Easter quiz and a colouring competition for the little ones. Departure Lounge, also known as DPL Wine & Grill Bar, in Abergele will be serving Sunday lunches from 12 noon till 6pm. There is a choice of beef, turkey or rosemary lamb, all served with seasonal vegetables including their ginger and rhubarb infused red cabbage. They will also be serving home-made Yorkshire puddings, roast and duchess potatoes. 2 courses for only £9.95. Kids under 12 only £5. For dessert they have their popular home-made Creme Egg Cheesecake plus many more. Gwrych Castle Preservation Trust are holding an Easter Fund-raising event with all of the proceeds being used to fund the continued restoration of this important North Wales Landmark. From 10am to 5pm on Saturday the 26th of March, St Pauls Methodist Church on Bridge Street in Abergele will be open to all. There will be craft stalls, refreshments, a tombola, Easter gifts for sale and an opportunity to decorate your own crown, shield and sword. This is a free to enter event with free parking in the large car park.
