Attractions and Events For Our Guests During March


At Pen-y-Bryn Farm we are always on the lookout for activities that we think our guests will enjoy. North Wales is home to a wide variety of ways to spend the day and this month doesn't disappoint! Here is a taster of some of the best places to visit when you stay with us during March.

Based on the popular book series, Rainbow Magic Live – Saving Fairyland will be performing at Rhyl Pavilion on Sunday the 12th of March at 2.30pm. The show Follows best friends Rachel and Kirsty as they help their fairy friends hunt for magical moonstones and tackle naughty goblins. The performance is suitable for children aged 4 and over. Tickets are priced at £12 per adult, £10 per child or £40 per family. Family tickets admit 4 - 2 adults and 2 children or 1 adult and 3 children. Bodnant Welsh Garden, has a variety of events taking place during March. Whatever your outdoor interests, there is bound to be something you and your family will enjoy. From star gazing to pond dipping, bird watching to mini beasts, Bodnant have got you covered. Bodnant Welsh Garden is a 30 minute drive from Pen-y-Bryn Farm & Holiday Cottages.

Aberconwy Equestrian Centre is family run and offers horse riding lessons for ages 7 and over. There are currently 15 horses available for hire, and all of the equipment you need is available at the centre. Some items are for hire only and there is a dress code for all riders to follow. Riding lessons are available from Monday to Saturday and the centre is open from 10am to 7pm. Enochs Fish & Chips in Llandudno is a cafe where you can eat in or takeaway. All of the fish sold is from sustainable sources and cooked fresh to order. But if fish isn't what you fancy, they also serve a range of products from the award winning Butcher, Edwards of Conwy, too.
