Have A Very Merry Christmas At Pen-y-Bryn Farm

Christmas has almost arrived and here at Pen-y-Bryn Farm & Holiday Cottages we are looking forward to getting the festivities under way. Here are a few suggestions of local places to visit while you are staying with us during your Christmas break, all of which are less than 30 minutes away from our farm.

If you are feeling a little full from all of the festive cheer, you can enjoy a Boxing Day walk around the RSPB Nature Reserve in Conwy. The walk will involve a friendly group of people and picking up a few wildlife facts along the way. The walk will take place on the 26th December from 11am – 2pm. Harlequin Puppet Theatre in Rhos On Sea is a hidden gem. A delight for all ages, the theatre is running their current puppet pantomine show 'Aladdin' from the 26th of December until the 3rd of January, with shows running daily at 3pm. Conwy Brewery is a microbrewery on the beautiful North Wales Coast which has been specialising in quality cask and bottle conditioned ale since 2003. Tours and courses are available to book, including pre-booked tours of the brewery, brewer for a day and design your own beer day. A selection of Gifts, Polypins (draught beer) & Bottled Ales are also available from Conwy Brewery Shop which is open from 29-31 December, 9am-4pm. Venue Cymru is host to the Oriel Conwy Gallery which is dedicated to showcasing photography and photographic works. On New Years Eve, the gallery will be open from 8pm, displaying work from local, national and international photographers. Admission to this event is free, however donations of any size will be gratefully accepted.
