While staying with us here at Pen-y-Bryn Farm, many of our guests enjoy visiting Conwy for a spot of shopping. With that in mind, here are a few shops that tripadvisor reviewers have recommended as a must see while you are staying in glorious North Wales.

Baravelli's Artisan Chocolate Shop, which was given a 5 star rating on trip advisor, is owned and run by husband and wife team Emma and Mark Baravelli. All of the chocolate sold is made by the duo on the premises. Products include Chocolate Bars, Chocolate Shapes, Chocstix and Dipped Fruit and Nuts. They also offer a Truffle Making Course and a Bean To Bar Tasting Session. Yesteryears Toy Shop, which was given a 4.5 star rating on trip advisor, is a traditional toy shop selling products ranging from Dolls Houses and Puppets to Castles and Rocking Horses. Lovers of all things nostalgic, they do not stock any current trends or fads. They prefer to stick with what they know and love and are sure you will not be disappointed with the treasures that are housed on their shelves. Space Craft, which was given a 5 star rating on trip advisor, offer items for sale made by around 40 local artists and crafters. Items for sale include Decorations and Decorative Plates, Soft Toys, Sweets and Chocolate Bouquets. This quirky little shop has lots to browse through and the owner is sure that you will find the perfect item whether it is a treat for yourself or a gift for a loved one. The Knight Shop, which was given a 4.5 star rating on trip advisor, is one of Europe’s largest retailers and wholesalers of replica militaria and associated giftware. The showroom and Distribution Centre is open to the public. They also offer a full time Historical Combat Academy and their very own 13th Century Medieval Tower. Sales of restricted items such as swords can only be made by adults over the age of 18 but they are sure that their substantial stock will have something to please any fan of military history.
