Enjoy a magical Christmas break at Pen-y-Bryn Farm this December


Christmas is coming and there are plenty of ways to enjoy the build up to the main event during your stay with us this December at Pen-y-Bryn Farm. Read on for a taste of the North Wales activities that aim to spread some festive cheer for the whole family, with something to interest everyone.

Llandudno's Magical Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday the 1st of December from 4 pm. To get you into the Christmas spirit before the parade begins, there will be seasonal entertainment which starts outside the Town Hall on Lloyd Street at 2.30pm. At 4pm, the Magical Christmas Parade, featuring Father Christmas himself, will leave the station area and travel through neighbouring streets before returning to the station. Visit Snowdonia Nurseries and Garden Centre for their Santa Winter Wonderland throughout December. On the 1st, 7th, 8th, 14th, 15th, 22nd, 23rd and 24th, children can come along and meet Santa for free, and will receive a chocolate and some magic reindeer dust during their visit. Rhyl Pavilion are hosting the traditional family favourite panto Aladdin throughout December. Performances start from Wednesday the 12th of December and run until the 5th of January. There are afternoon and evening performances and discounts available for bookings with over 10 people, which is ideal for guests staying in our farmhouse which sleeps 14 adults. Old Colwyn Christmas Market will run over one weekend from Saturday the 15th of December until Sunday the 16th of December, and will be open from 12-6 pm. There will be over 40 stalls that are packed with high quality Christmas gifts, homewares, tasty food and drink, jewellery and much more. The individual stallholders, most of whom are from North Wales, make the Market so special and unique, and most of the products being sold are handmade. Manorafon Farm Park are hosting their Christmas Adventure on selected dates throughout December. On Saturday the 15th, Sunday the 16th, Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd of December, your guided 2 hour experience includes an invitation through the post from Santa, a ride through the winter wonderland on the North Pole Express, animated reindeer (not real reindeer), a bear to take home, a chance to decorate your own gingerbread in the elves' kitchen, meet Santa in his grotto and receive a gift which you can choose from selected items in the gift shop and more.
